Where can I change my security settings?

Learn how to configure and manage your security settings to protect your Yeeld account

Why Security is Important

Securing your account is crucial to safeguarding your financial information and transactions. The Yeeld app provides several security features to help keep your account safe.

Key Security Features and How to Manage Them

  1. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

    • Enable two-factor authentication to add an extra layer of security. Go to ‘Settings’, select ‘Security’, and follow the instructions to set up 2FA using SMS or an authentication app.
  2. Biometric Authentication

    • For quicker and more secure access, enable biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID). This can be set up during initial registration or later via the ‘Security’ settings.
  3. Manage Your Passcode

    • Set or change your 4-digit passcode to secure your account. This passcode will be required for quick access to the app.
  4. Account Lock and Unlock

    • You can lock or freeze your account temporarily if you suspect any fraudulent activity. To do this, go to ‘Security’ settings and choose the ‘Lock Account’ option.
  5. Notifications and Alerts

    • Configure your notification settings to receive alerts for any unusual activity or transactions in your account.

Regularly reviewing and updating your security settings helps ensure your account remains protected against unauthorised access.
