Where can I change my security settings?

Most account security settings can be managed from the More section of the app, including your contact details, password, two-factor authentication, and notification preferences.

Yeeld provides a range of security settings to help keep your account safe. Most of these can be found in the More section of the main navigation menu.

My Details

The My Details section allows you to manage key information associated with your account.

Changing your email address

You can update your email address at any time.

For security purposes, you'll need access to:

  • Your current email address
  • Your new email address

A one-time passcode (OTP) will be sent to both addresses to confirm the change.

Changing your phone number

You can also update your phone number.

To complete the change, you'll need access to:

  • Your existing phone number
  • Your new phone number

An OTP will be sent to both numbers for verification.

No longer have access?

If you've lost access to your current email address or phone number, please contact support:

support@yeeld.com

Our team will guide you through the account recovery process.

Changing your name

Name changes are only permitted where there has been an official legal change, such as:

  • Marriage
  • Deed Poll
  • Other legally recognised name changes

To update your name, you must:

  • Complete additional identity verification (KYC)
  • Provide an official ID document showing your new legal name

Examples include:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence
  • National identity card

Changing your address

Address changes also require verification.

You'll need to provide proof of your new address, such as:

  • Bank statement
  • Utility bill
  • Council tax document
  • Other accepted proof of address

The document must:

  • Show your name
  • Show your new address
  • Meet current verification requirements

Settings

The Settings section contains additional security options.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

For additional protection, you can enable:

  • Authenticator app verification
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA)

This provides an extra layer of security when accessing your account.

Notification settings

You can control which notifications you receive, including:

  • Security alerts
  • Transaction updates
  • Account activity
  • Product updates
  • AI insights and reminders

We recommend keeping security notifications enabled.

Changing your password

You can change your account password at any time from the Settings section.

We recommend using:

  • A strong password
  • Unique credentials not used elsewhere
  • Two-factor authentication for additional security

Understanding passcodes

It's important to understand the difference between your account password and your app passcode.

Account password

Your password:

  • Belongs to your Yeeld account
  • Is used to sign in
  • Can be changed from Settings

App passcode

Your passcode:

  • Is created when you log into a device
  • Exists only on that specific device
  • Is not stored against your Yeeld account
  • Does not sync across devices

For example:

  • Phone A may have a 6-digit passcode
  • Phone B may have a completely different passcode

Both devices can still access the same Yeeld account.

How to change your passcode

If you'd like to change your app passcode:

  1. Log out of your Yeeld account on that device
  2. Log back in
  3. Create a new passcode during setup

This new passcode will replace the old one for that device.

In summary

You can manage your security settings from More → My Details and More → Settings, including:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Password
  • Two-factor authentication
  • Notification preferences

For name or address changes, additional verification is required to help keep your account secure and up to date.
