Can I Open a Different Currency Account With Yeeld?

Not at the moment.

Yeeld currently offers GBP Accounts only. We don't currently provide accounts that are held directly in other currencies.

However, you can still view and manage many foreign currency accounts within Yeeld by connecting them through Yeeld Connect.

Can I Connect Foreign Currency Accounts?

Yes.

If you already have a foreign currency account with a supported bank or financial institution, you can connect it to Yeeld using Yeeld Connect, provided the provider is supported.

Once connected, your foreign currency accounts can be viewed alongside your other connected accounts within the app.

How Does Yeeld Handle Multiple Currencies?

Yeeld has full multi-currency support.

When you connect accounts that use different currencies, Yeeld automatically recognises each currency and keeps your transactions, balances and insights in the account's original currency.

For some aggregated views, such as your overall net worth or total balance across all connected accounts, Yeeld will convert foreign currency balances into pounds sterling (GBP). This is purely to give you a simple overview of the total value of your finances in one place.

Your underlying accounts, transactions, spending insights and historical data always remain in their original currency.

Are Exchange Rates Used?

Yes.

Where Yeeld displays an aggregated total across multiple currencies, an exchange rate is used to estimate the combined value in pounds sterling.

These conversions are for display purposes only and don't change the actual balance or currency held with your account provider.

Will Yeeld Offer Foreign Currency Accounts in the Future?

We're continually expanding the features available on Yeeld.

While we currently only offer GBP Accounts directly, additional account types and currencies may become available in the future.
