Changing Your Password or Passcode

How to securely change your password or passcode

To change your password or passcode, you must first log in to your Yeeld account using the Secure Customer Authentication (SCA) process. This involves entering your existing credentials (knowledge factor) and verifying with a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or email (possession factor). Once authenticated:

  1. Navigate to ‘Settings’: Go to the 'Settings' section within the app.
  2. Select ‘Change Password’ or ‘Change Passcode’: Choose the option you wish to update.
  3. Verify Your Identity Again: Enter your current password or passcode as the first authentication factor. You will then receive an OTP via SMS or email, which serves as the second authentication factor.
  4. Enter New Password or Passcode: Input your new password or passcode, ensuring it meets the security requirements (minimum character length, combination of letters, numbers, and special characters).
  5. Confirm Changes: Enter the new credentials again to confirm the change.

This additional SCA flow ensures that any changes to your security details are protected against unauthorised access.
