How Do I Dispute a Virtual Card Transaction?
If there’s a problem with a payment made using your Yeeld virtual card, here’s how to raise a dispute and what you need to know.
Try the Merchant First
The quickest way to resolve most payment issues is by contacting the company directly. This includes couriers, retailers, or payment platforms like PayPal if that’s how the payment was made.
If the issue isn’t resolved or you don’t get a response, you can raise a dispute through Yeeld.
How to Raise a Dispute
To begin the process:
-
Open the Yeeld app and go to your Statement.
-
Tap on the transaction you want to dispute.
-
Select 'Dispute Transaction'.
This will open our dispute form via the online help system. From there, you’ll be guided through a few questions about the payment and the issue you're facing.
Once submitted, our team will review your request and escalate the dispute for you.
You Can Dispute a Transaction If:
-
The goods or service you paid for were faulty, incorrect, or not delivered
-
A refund was promised but never received
-
You’ve been overcharged or charged multiple times
-
You’ve been charged a subscription you tried to cancel
-
You were charged a fee without clear explanation (e.g. for a no-show)
-
You didn’t receive all or any cash from an ATM withdrawal
Things to Know
-
We may request supporting evidence such as receipts, emails, screenshots, or tracking details.
-
Raising a dispute means we’ll try to recover your money from the merchant, but this isn’t guaranteed. We’ll assess each case fairly and transparently.
If you’re not sure whether your situation qualifies or need further help, contact the Yeeld Team through the app's help section.
