How Do I Open a Current Account?

Yeeld doesn’t offer traditional current accounts, but you can still get your own account number and sort code

Yeeld doesn’t provide current accounts in the traditional sense. However, if you're a Yeeld Premium customer, you can open a Yeeld currency wallet, which functions in much the same way.

When you open a currency wallet, you’ll receive a dedicated UK account number and sort code, allowing you to receive payments, make transfers, and set up Direct Debits or standing orders just like you would with a standard current account.

To open a Yeeld currency wallet, you’ll need to:

  • Be a Premium plan user

  • Complete a quick identity verification (KYC) process using a valid government-issued photo ID and a short video selfie

Once verified, your wallet will be ready to use in the app — with instant access to manage payments, subscriptions, and spending insights.
