How to Update Your Personal Details
A step-by-step guide to updating personal information within the Yeeld app
Maintaining up-to-date personal information is crucial for the security and accuracy of your Yeeld account. Here’s how you can update your details:
Accessing ‘My Details’:
- Open the Yeeld app and select the ‘More’ option at the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap on ‘My Details’ from the ‘More Options’ page.
Updating Your Information:

Email Address and Phone Number:
- In the ‘Account Information’ section, you can update your email address and phone number.
- For security, any changes to these fields require re-verification. A 6-digit code will be sent to both the new and current email address or phone number.
- Enter both codes to confirm the change.

Name and Date of Birth:
- The ‘Personal Information’ section includes your first name, middle name (if provided), last name, and date of birth.
- These fields are not editable to maintain the integrity of your identity.

Address:
- In the ‘Address Information’ section, you can update your residential address.
- Upload proof of residence (such as a bank statement, utility bill, broadband/internet bill, tax return, council tax bill, or government-issued certificate of residence) dated within the last three months.
- Once submitted, Yeeld will review the document and notify you of the outcome:
- In Progress: Your document is being reviewed.
- Retry: The document was insufficient or unreadable. You will need to resubmit.
- Rejected: The document has been rejected.
- Verified: Once approved, the new address will be updated in your account.
Keeping your details updated ensures secure and accurate communication with Yeeld, helping maintain the safety of your account.
