I Was Charged for a Service I Cancelled or Didn’t Use – What Should I Do?

How to get help if you’ve been billed for something you cancelled or never used.

Speak to the Company First

Your first step should always be to contact the company directly. If you cancelled a subscription or didn’t use the service, ask them for a refund. This is usually the quickest way to resolve things.


Still Not Resolved? Raise a Dispute

If the company doesn’t issue a refund or won’t respond, you can raise a dispute through the Yeeld app.

Here's how:

  1. Open the Yeeld app

  2. Go to your Accounts section

  3. Find and tap the transaction

  4. Select ‘Dispute Transaction’

  5. Choose "I’ve got a problem with the goods or service(s) I purchased"

We’ll ask a few questions to understand what happened and get it escalated.


What You Might Need to Provide

We may ask for evidence to support your claim. This could include:

  • Proof of cancellation

  • A receipt or invoice

  • Emails or chats with the company
