I’ve Been Overcharged — What Should I Do?
If you've paid more than expected for a purchase, here's how to handle it.
Start by Speaking to the Merchant
The quickest way to sort this is often to go straight to the company you bought from. Ask them to explain the charge — it might be a mistake they can fix on the spot.
If You Can't Resolve It, Raise a Dispute
If the company won’t refund you or insists the charge is correct, you can raise a dispute through the Yeeld app.
Here's how:
-
Open the Yeeld app
-
Go to your Accounts section
-
Tap on the transaction you want to dispute
-
Select ‘Dispute Transaction’
-
Choose the option: "I've been charged incorrectly or charged more than once"
We’ll guide you through a few questions to help us understand the issue.
What You’ll Need
We may ask for supporting evidence, such as:
-
A receipt or invoice
-
Email or chat conversations with the company
-
A screenshot showing the original price
We'll review your claim fairly using all the information you provide.
Important Info
When you raise a dispute, we’ll try to recover the money from the merchant — but we can’t guarantee it. We’ll always do our best to support you.
