How Do I Manage My Security Settings?

Maintaining robust security for your Yeeld account is crucial. Here’s how to manage your security settings:

Navigating to Security Settings:

1. Open the app and select ‘More’ at the bottom of the screen.
2. Go to ‘Settings’ from the ‘More Options’ page.
3. Tap on ‘Security’ to access the available security options.

Configuring Security Options:

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):

• Enable or Disable MFA:
  • Navigate to the ‘Authentication’ tab.
  • Choose between using a third-party authenticator app or SMS-based MFA.
  • To enable or disable MFA, enter the 6-digit code sent to your registered device to confirm the changes.
  • This feature can be enabled or disabled at any time, although setting up MFA during account setup is advised for enhanced security.

Change Password:

• Updating Your Password:
  • Tap on ‘Change Password’ in the Security section.
  • You must already be logged into the app to change your password.
  • Enter your current password, then enter and confirm the new password.
  • To finalise the change, a One-Time Passcode (OTP) will be sent to your registered device. Enter this code to verify and complete the process.
  • Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.

Change Passcode:

• Updating Your Passcode:
  • To change your 4-digit passcode, select ‘Change Passcode’.
  • You must already be logged into the app to change your passcode.
  • Enter your old passcode, then enter and confirm the new passcode.
  • To complete the change, you will receive an OTP on your registered device. Enter this OTP to verify and finalise the update.

Adjusting these settings helps you maintain control over your account’s security and prevent unauthorised access.
