What Documents Do I Need to Open a Yeeld Account?
The information and documents required to get started with Yeeld
To sign up for Yeeld, you only need to provide three simple things:
-
Your name
-
Your mobile number
-
Your email address
Once your details are confirmed, you’ll be able to download the Yeeld app and start setting things up.
To unlock Yeeld’s powerful insights and features, you’ll need to link your bank account. This requires your sort code and account number so we can securely connect via Open Banking. Once connected, you’ll start receiving personalised insights into your finances like never before.
If you decide to upgrade to our Premium service and open a currency wallet (GBP), we’ll need to take you through a short identity check (KYC) to keep your account secure and compliant with regulations.
For GBP wallets, we’ll ask for:
-
A valid Government-issued photo ID
(e.g. passport, driving licence, or national ID card) -
A proof of address, dated within the last 3 months
(e.g. bank statement, utility bill, or official government document)
Please note:
We can’t accept screenshots, mobile phone bills, medical bills, purchase receipts, or insurance statements. All documents must be clearly visible, well-lit, and show your full name and address.
